About Us
About Us
Evolve by Evore is a 501c3 nonprofit organization committed to empowering, educating and supporting cancer survivors by celebrating their journeys through resilience, beauty and community. We provide transformative makeup experiences that not only enhance their outer beauty but also uplifts their spirits. By engaging survivors in heartfelt interviews, we create a platform for them to share their stories, fostering understanding and connection.
Each year, we host five impactful events that educate the public, support those affected by cancer, and give back to the community, all while building a strong network of individuals who uplift and inspire one another. Our commitment is to honor each survivor’s unique journey ensuring they feel valued, celebrated and connected.
Our History
It all started in January 2020, a few months before the pandemic. Evore had been working in a medical facility where she handled many medical records, with oncology records being the most frequent. She sought to educate herself on what an oncologist was and soon learned that an oncologist is a cancer doctor. Having been in America for just under two years, Evore had very little knowledge about cancer back in Nigeria, so she aimed to educate herself further.
Evore had been a makeup artist for seven years and had done professional makeup for celebrities, brides, and wedding guests. She was at a phase in her life where she wanted to transform makeup from being just a business into her own way of giving back to society. Before this, at the age of 16, Evore discovered a lump in her right breast. She underwent a lumpectomy, which turned out to be a benign lump.
During her research on cancer, she soon learned about chemotherapy and all it entails. Evore often talked about how she grew up as the “short hair girl” and how she always took pride in her God-given beauty, even with her short hair. When she became a makeup artist, she created beautiful looks to further enhance this beauty.
It was through this experience that she heard God tell her to use her gift of makeup and confidence to empower everyone going through chemotherapy who loses their hair.
In April 2021, Evore flew to Tulsa, Oklahoma, to interview her first survivor and gave her a makeover and photoshoot session. It was a beautiful experience, and she knew she was on the right path.

Our Vision
Our vision is to cultivate a world where every cancer survivor feels embraced and empowered, radiating confidence and beauty from within. We aspire to cultivate a compassionate community that inspires, uplifts, and not only recognizes the challenges of cancer but also celebrates the triumphs. Through our events, we aim to inspire others and transform the narrative of cancer survivorship into a powerful message of hope and resilience.
We envision a future where survivors are celebrated not just for their battles, but for their strength and the beauty they bring to the world, fostering a sense of belonging and support that transcends the individual experience.
